Who We Are

A Balance Between Acceptance and Change

Dr. Alexandra Morris and Dr. Kelly Zbojovsky began as colleagues and friends, and then became partners in private practice after discovering a shared passion for providing engaging and quality evidence-based treatment to individuals struggling with behaviors that can be significantly improved with the right empirically-supported intervention.  Shortly thereafter, A to Z Cognitive Behavioral Consulting, LLC was created and the rest, as they say, is history.  Drs. Morris and Zbojovsky utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) interventions, strength-based approaches that focus specifically on practical skill acquisition, which are uniquely tailored to each client's individual goals. We offer a range of therapy and consulting services to children, adolescents, adults, and organizations.

Our Mission

It is the mission of A to Z to meet clients where they are when they enter treatment and help them come to a place of radical acceptance of their current circumstances. Drs. Morris and Zbojovsky have an interactive, direct style that, at times, feels more like coaching than traditional psychotherapy. They focus on enhancing a client’s motivation, as well as helping them find the balance between acceptance and change.  Their goal is to locate the “gray area” between extremes in thinking, emotions, and behavior.  It is these extremes, which lead to common problems in living, relationship difficulties, or severe mental and behavioral symptoms.

Drs. Morris and Zbojovsky believe in doing more than helping individuals reduce troubling symptoms; they want to help clients break free from ineffective behavioral patterns and, more importantly, truly heal. They are committed to teaching clients how to stop emotions from controlling their lives. They strive to help clients overcome barriers that keep them stuck in negative behaviors, life patterns, or relationships that hinder their ability to reach their desired goals and live fully. Drs. Morris and Zbojovsky channel their unrelenting energy, straightforward style, and radical genuineness to help shift clients into resolving these barriers and ineffective patterns. They hope to enable clients to become more skillful in their everyday experience so they can be more effective at reaching their goals while, ultimately, creating lives worth living.
